This may be hard for you,
it may be hard for you to read, my love
I know this has been the most
difficult thing I've ever had to tell you.

The pen in my hand wouldn't write,
my hands trembled above the paper
as my heart cried and mourned for its loss.

This may be harder for you to read
more than when I told you all of
the horrible things I've done to
you in the past.

And yet as tears stain this page
And smear the words to blobs,
I know that I must do
what I am now.

I do not mean to break your heart,
I do not mean to cause you pain,
and I do not mean to break my promise
of never letting tears fall from your eyes.

when my body is lifeless

Will you sprout wings
and fly off to a paradise?

to be reincarnated again?

the tears and the laughter
are but gifts to your long life.

And the pain and sorrow

are just reminders

Yeah.........got a little lazy. The background and her cape thing are the same in this picture. If anyone's seen Yuu Watase's work you'll know what I'm talking about. (The tutorial for the star field was found somewhere on good-tutorials.com)

Uhh....I'm actually not that happy with her hair. I think that her skin and the background are fine. But her hair is bugging me. Not to mention that lousy "tattoo" that I put on her back. Her fingernails are funny, I forgot to draw them in while I was doing the lineart and only realized that at the end and so put nail polish on instead. The more that I look at it, the more off I think the shading is. But whatever, I'm not changing right now. Her eye also looks lifeless....it makes me depressed.

Stop being so nitpicky. This is really nice.

I love the way you did the cape, with just the white outline to
separate it from the background. Very sweet.
